The young newborn had perched herself up high in one of the trees that helped create the Devali Circle of Trees. Up on the sturdy branch, she straddled in, her legs swinging back and forth. Her head leaned against the main trunk, gray eyes watching the setting sun as her fingers picked at the bark. This was fairly calm for the newborn, who was usually spazzed as any drop of blood sent her senses into a frenzy. Now though, watching the setting sun, her blood did not pump as a wild animal who could not hold still. Instead, she was more of just being quiet as she snuck away from her master to hide away out in these woods. As she looked for a place to stop, she climbed up in the tree and found herself comfortable, so she rested to watch to sunset.

As she heard the footsteps of another, her head raised from the trunk. Her nostrils inhaled deeply, breathing in the scent of her master, one she had grown to know easily. Her eyes flashed as she looked through the thick leaves down at the male who stood upon the ground. She was silent, watching him with mild curiousity. The wind ruffled the branches about her, now surely blowing her scent to him, unless he too like her was escaping from the world and was taking no notice. Pulling up her legs she crouched on the branch. The jeans hugged her round hips and the loose tank top flowing about her flat tummy though hugging her chest. Finally she stood and jumped, landing in a crouch beside him, her glittering eyes looking up at him. A moment of deja vu hit her, reminded of when they first met and how she fell out of the tree after he killed her. She straighted from her crouch, hands smoothing down wrinkles in her light blue tank top. Her feet were bare, but with a walk about the tree she slipped on the flip flops that fell off when she first sat up in the tree.

"Hello Tokala,"

she purred as she walked back around the tree, leaning against it as her darkening gray eyes feel on him, a smile pulling at her lips. Hunger would come to her soon, but for now she was managing to control herself from being a total spazz. Her fingers pulled at the bark, her eyes shifting to watch her hand before flashing back to Tokala. Another problem with being a newborn, she could never keep her attention on track. The dark blonde hair whipped about her face in the wind, the round face looking so innocent under the glow of the setting sun. A monster hide behind that mark though, one who still had no control over herself.

The female paused as his hand moved out, touching her cheek gently, as if fondly. The smile tugged at her lips, the grin pulling on her features so her white teeth glittered under the moonlight, fangs slightly visible, though not bared threateningly. It amused her how he called her by a full name, and not the nickname many others came to call her in the coven. Lizzy was her preferred name, and only on rare occasions did it bother her when Tokala used her full first name, though usually she was starving and crazed at those times. If people were not calling her by her name though, she was 'Tokala's pet'. Much of her time was spent with her creator, except of events as tonight when she stole away to watch the sunset and the stars creep into the black sky.

The attention drifted back and forth between nature and her master, the newborn having trouble pinning her attention to one thing. Interest perked when her hunger was mentioned and the darkening eyes fell upon Tokala, her head nodding that soon her actions would be once more out of control. The only thing she had managed to control, was her mind reading, and when her knowing things before a person asked her got annoying, she found an off switch. Usually she kept her "powers" turned off about Tokala, she liked things with her creator to be a mystery, for he had already changed her life. The unexpected death though, brought out the person she always wanted to be, so she wished to wait for what Tokala had in store for her without knowing it before him.

The wind began to blow stronger, blowing back the long strands of blonde hair to wave about her pretty round face. She stepped closer to Tokala, a move to stand out of the current of the wind to use the trunk as a block. Her darkening eyes glittered with amusement now as she watched Tokala watch the sky, he an interest to her, one thing that could keep her interest when she paused long enough to see something interesting in him.

"I feel parched, but in a few hours I can imagine I will feel practically starved,"

she agreed. It left her in wonder of how he could read her so easily, to know when she was hungry or when something was on her mind. And when he noticed, usually the answer would come to her as he thought them up. Tokala amazed the pretty young thing, and she found herself fond of him, though she didn't have much feelings beyong that. She was still very wild and untamed, and hardly could manage her feelings, let alone much feelings for someone else. She worked on respect for Tokala, and it came, other feelings to work on, she would just need help discovering. Of course, she had yet to read in his mind that he already considered herself his.

Lizzy smile at her master softly, her gray eyes flickering over his face kindly. She leaned against the tree and slid down, settling her butt on the tall grass that grew into the circle of trees. Picking a tall wild flower she carefully picked at each petal, pulling them off one at a time.

"I don't know where I will go..."

she said softly with a shrug. Part of her hoped he would tell her and would go with her, she enjoyed their time together, her fondness growing with each day that passed in her endless life.

The female jumped up from her place at the base of the tree, excitement lighting up her eyes at such an offer. Devali was a place of anmal drinkers, and many times she dried to quench here hunger with the places proper diet, but Tokala broke the rules, so she followed and did the same. The grin pulled up with amusement, lighting up her features now as she moved about Tokala, her movements almost dance like, as if she moved across air about him.

"Lover's Lane...such a romantic place, and human? You spoil me,"

the female teased, stopping in her dance-like movements as she came face to face once again with Tokala.

The male petted at her like she was a pet or something, but she tried to let the comparison roll from her shoulders and let the fond touch slip by without her teeth going fter Tokala's hand. He was her master afterall, he had some right to a limit to do what he pleased toward her. In some aspects she was like a pet, accept she could talk back and even fight by for that matter. The female snorted and then smiled, her shoulders shrugging in reply.

"Let's..." Lizzy agreed, pulling back fom the hand. The eyes flickered toward the sky and then up into the high branches of the tree she had earlier perched herself upon. She then looked back at Tokala, winked playfully and took off at a run, playing a little race game back to the garage to get the car.
